The Creator

Kai was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He's currently studying International Relations Global Business at the University of Southern California. 

His father was raised across the street in the same neighborhood. His mother was raised in Eagle Pass, Texas, a border town merging with Piedras Negras, Mexico. Kai is the middle child of three boys.

He's had the privilege of growing up with two parents who exposed him to travel and different cultures from a very young age. Now, he does it on his free time. Paired with his own personal multiethnic background, these experiences have shaped the way he views and interacts with the world.

His travels have only reinforced his belief that everyone has something beneficial to bring to the table, regardless of their race, ethnicity, culture, language, religion, or any other form of identity.

His passion for travel and connecting cultures is what led him to create Foreign Narratives™. He wants to bring full consciousness to something that often feels forgotten — that we’re all connected, in one way or another.

It’s a never-ending quest to become universally connected, but that’s the beauty of it.
